Coordinates offers ‘wearable memories’ - hand crafted jewelry pieces that are customizable with the geographic coordinates of a special place. Social media was the primary focus of their marketing strategy, and Umbrella Los Angeles undertook the next phase of their development with targeted collaborations with influencers to increase their reach and improve audience engagement. We began by customizing content by collection and season, highlighting holidays and high value sales periods such as Mother’s day and Valentine’s day.
In January 2017, we hosted a dinner to promote Coordinate’s #momentsoflife campaign and their newest collection: Luna. To increase awareness and build anticipation for the collection before its launch, we invited key influencers and press to an exclusive dinner at Catch LA. The event generated over 2 million impressions on social media, followed by placements on online publications such as Who What Wear and Zoe Report.
In support of the new e-commerce website, our influencer collaborations, Facebook campaigns and giveaway contests were instrumental in raising awareness for Coordinates Collection's direct selling platform with old and new customers. In March 2017, we partnered with Busabout to host a giveaway contest to increase email sign-ups, web traffic - in conjunction with influencers. We saw a growth of 6,000 followers and a 500% increase in referral traffic.
Overall, Coordinates saw an increase of over 50% of their e-commerce revenue.
